Content
Management Software is a unique program with the help of which
you can add and contribute contents to the growing database
of ClickATutor's courses.
You can
also add the images to support the content and all this with
much ease.
There are
two main parts into which we have divided the Content Management
Software:
Add New
Content Page: This feature is for those who are contributing
content to ClickATutor for the very first time using this software.
1. Clicking
on this link will open a page where you will have to select
the course and module under which you would like to add content.
In case you find that ClickATutor doesn't have the required
course or module, please use the option found on the page which
allows you to add a new course, topic, or section as per the
contents you would like to contribute.
Let us use
an example to explain it:
Let us say
that you want to add new content for English Punctuation which
is listed under English Grades 4 - 8.
From the
main window, you have to select "English Grades 4 - 8"
from the drop down box titled "Courses".
This will
open the list of all the topics/modules for "English Grades
4 - 8". From the topic/module drop down box, select "English
Punctuation" as the topic/module and the new page which
will open will allow you to define the new section/sub - module
name for the contents you would like to contribute.
2. If the
desired topic/section is not listed in the drop down box, you
have an option to define the new Course Name/Topic Name/Section
Name for the contents you would like to contribute.
3. Once
you have completed the procedure to identify the correct path
to add your contents, please go ahead and write or copy and
paste the contents in the text area provided, and after completing
just click on the button, "Next Step".
4. In the
next step, all you need to do is to add an image relevant to
the contents and click on "Upload Image" to complete
the content adding process.
5. The contents
will be added under your username and you can, at any time,
login and edit the contents. This is the second feature of the
Content Management Software.
Edit
Existing Contents: Clicking on this link will show you all
the contents which you have earlier contributed to ClickATutor's
database.
1. You can
edit any of the contents which you added earlier, and then just
save the changes. You can even add new images to the content
as well.
2. You can
also view the status of your contents and the date on which
you have contributed different contents to ClickATutor. If your
contents have been approved and uploaded, you will see the status
as, "Approved" or if the contents are still awaiting
clearance for the uploading, you will see the status as, "Awaited".
Once your contents have been approved, you will receive an email
from ClickATutor confirming the approval and the uploading.
